About
The Mechanical Engineering Department at Sri Sowdambika Polytechnic College was started in 1994 with the aim of providing quality education and training in the field of mechanical engineering. The CNC Training Centre established in 2001 with CNC milling machine, 10 user CNC simulation software and 40 no of high configuration computers. Over the years, the department has grown significantly, both in terms of infrastructure and academic excellence. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities that enable students to gain practical experience in various aspects of mechanical engineering.
